I have been making this picspam for like, a week, and I am finally posting it now! (happy, Sammie?)
It involves two women who've played Elphaba, three women that are six feet tall, and a surprising amount of women who are under the age of 40.
And it's in alphabetical order by first name. Enjoy! :D

SURPRISE who saw this one coming?! I feel as though my borderline creepy obsession with Allison is very apparent to the entire world. Seeing her perform live only fueled the fires of my love for her. And anyone who was with me or talked to me that night can attest to the absolute ridiculousness that ensued because of her. Her talent requires no explanation, since it is disgustingly obvious whenever you see her in anything. She does no wrong, I am afraid.

Mamma Mia in a week!!! Three exclamation points were so necessary. Beth was my first obsession to last more than like, a week, and I am pretty sure she sparked my love for brassy character actresses. I have done, still do, will continue to do so many things for this woman, it's not even an issue anymore, my mother has discontinued questioning me about it. Her voice is probably one of my favorite things in the world and I wish everyone could have seen her in Into the Woods because she was unbelievable.

Why even, I don't know. She made it on to this list because I caught an episode of Grey's on TV the other day when she was still on and flailed at my TV screen. My love for her clearly started when Dr. Hahn was my favorite character on Grey's Anatomy after Addison left. When Erica left the show I was actually heartbroken, mostly because her exit was SO random and barely provoked and UNNECESSARY. I miss her.

Hello, my name is Claudia Shear and I look creepily like Mary Testa sometimes and that is reason enough for me to be on this list. No, that's not it, but...it is creepy. After I saw Restorations in La Jolla, I fully realized how amazing this woman is. She is so multi-talented and just... my 'type', haha. I'm thinking of doing a monologue of hers for auditions because I am in love with the way she writes. Her writing Dirty Blonde doesn't hurt either, considering I think she secretly wrote it just for Emily whether she knows this or not.

Woman who played Elphaba number one. I'm not going to lie, my actual obsession with Eden was because of the Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway DVD. I rented it one night when I couldn't find anything to watch and then continued to watch it every night for weeks because I couldn't get enough of Eden. She is legitimately in her own league when it comes to belting, there are few other people I can think of who can belt some of things she can. She is one of three people who has their own playlist on my itunes.

For some reason, Emily is the most difficult for me to articulate thoughts about. I cannot wait to see her in Dirty Blonde because I am excited to see her obnoxiously-apparent-acting-abilities-on-CDs in action. Something about Emily, her soprano, her belt, her speaking voice, her hair, just makes me love her. She is honestly one of the most genuine performers I have ever experienced and an even more so genuine person. I can't even describe the amount of love this woman deserves.

No list is complete without a classy lady like Jane Lynch. I have come to realize I will love any and everything that comes out of her mouth, without question. Even when she's being the lesbian equivalent of a sleazy old guy hitting on his client. Glee would not be nearly the same without her and Another Cinderella Story would not even be worth watching (sry Selena Gomez) if she wasn't in it. Also I wish she would do more things like Julie and Julia because I enjoyed her not batshit-ness in that movie so much.

Woman who played Elphaba number two. I watched a video of that Kander and Ebb concert with Julia and Heidi and Norm last night and basically decided Julia needed on this list immediately. My love for Julia is substantially less obvious than that of the others, usually, but equally as true. I realize her voice is not for everyone, but sometimes I just have her CD on constant loop, because it is just that beautiful. I don't even know, Julia Murney, let's get married.

One time, I was running to go onstage at Hair and she grabbed my shoulders and was like "Yay, come on!" and probably had no idea what she was doing to me, but it made my day. She is perhaps the most adorable person on the planet, like, I dare her to be cuter. Again, something about the ladies with incredibly unique voices, but I do not know how you couldn't like hers, it's so. cool.

And Mara Davi, hey girl. I basically have Sammie to thank for this one, though I'm pretty sure my love for Mara would have found it's way eventually. She is legitimately one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my entire life, and that voice comes out of no. where. When I saw her in White Christmas last year it was just like ...perfect. She is such a wonderful performer, like why isn't she a big star already.

...that was good times.

She's not your typical beauty, but run of the mill gets boring after a while. When she acts, she's incredibly honest and real, one of the few Hollywood actresses I can say is truly, truly talented at what she does. Maybe she just picks the right roles, maybe I just have a bias, maybe some one in Hollywood is damn good at editing, but I chose Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'my favorite person' because of her talent, her intelligence, and her individuality. And little bit because her speaking voice is one of the coolest and most adorable things I have ever heard. But only a little.
